I was looking in the market for a basic laptop for my younger brother who is going off to college (UCI). I'd had search on numerous websites looking for a deal which included newegg, frys, bestbuy, and walmart. All of which were out of my budget which is when I found this baby on amazon. I gotta say, this is the best bang for your buck as far as practically and price. At $315, this machine has exceeded my expectations! I thought it would be a lot smaller and slower both at which were incorrect. Has great hardrive storage and comes with 4 GB ram, I may buy some more ram so that multitasking would be much quicker. Right I can stream online radio, have 4-5 tabs open with different websites loaded (including me writing this review) without it taking to long to load each page but it could be faster with RAM upgrade. Overall, I think my brother will be very pleased with his new laptop, it will take care of his educational needs as well as entertainment.

It's pretty sexyBy Colin
For $300 this is definitelya bargain. I like the smaller screen size than the 15 inch, and thebetter processor. It's still relatively slow (I used to have a mac), but it gets the jobs done. This laptop is a good little guy.
I saw that another reviewerposted about the spacebar not always working - it's true, the spacebar doesn't always read. I hate that! It's done it probably five times while writingthis review.
Anyway I thinkthat this laptop crushes its competitors. You'renot going tofind much in this price range.

The laptop is perfect in every way- sleek, slim, great graphics, amazing memory, and lightning fast download speed (for a point of reference, it completely downloaded World of Warcraft in three days, which usually takes between four days and a week), and after installing the game, which is usually a huge drain on speed, memory, etc, I noticed no difference in performance. I was told a low end, non-gaming laptop would be awful with games like WoW; my opinion has officially been changed and this is now my new favorite.
